MY

CONTRIBUTION

I participated in the whole research process as a UX researcher and especially contributed to interpreting and finding user insights after conducting several interviews. Especially, in the Crazy 8s session, my idea notes are selected by voting and picked as our final design solution. Regarding a team contract, I prepared the meeting in advance to use our time effectively and respected our team’s rule. I always had a proactive attitude toward the project and show enthusiasm to our project. The whole team members were also very respectful and flexible to each one’s situation so that we could complete our tasks without any trouble.

Executive Summary Statement

Elevator

Pitch

Have you ever felt lost when viewing public art? Do you feel unable to relate/connect to art pieces? From our research, we found that most art viewers don’t know how to interpret the art piece, let alone know what to do or how to relate to it.

Enter your own personal art guide - “Hey, Artie!” to help provide a personalized viewing experience.

We conducted 3 rounds of user interviews and scenario-based research and discovered that 12/12 participants needed help connecting to art. With “Hey, Artie!”, viewers can approach an art piece and talk to it like a friend, receive recommendations for where to go next, and even receive a guided tour.

Let's be a friend of our local public art!
